I came over this website about two years ago and to this day I am still amazed.
99Rooms.com is a beautifully designed flash photo gallery of urban shots. But it isn't just a simple gallery. It is made into a story, an adventure, an unforgettable experience. This gallery has a cold, creepy, macabre yet mysterious feeling to it. Its animated shots and ambient sounds make your shiver while browsing through the 99 rooms. Some rooms are more scary than others but one thing is constant throughout this gallery: the wall art is splendid in every shot and it contributes noticeably to the overall atmosphere. The developers said:

"[99Rooms] is a unique internet art project that interweaves wall painting, photography, animation and sound in a manner entirely unknown until now."

Dare to enter the 99rooms for a creepy yet unforgettable experience.

So, bored of crappy designed sites that almost hurt your eyes when you visit them? Well then, take a sit in your comfy chair, grab a coup of coffee and check this out: www.thefwa.com
The FWA stands for Favorite Website Awards and they feature a collection of jaw dropping flash websites from all over the world. And believe me, some of them will knock your socks off with their ingenious animations and brilliant designs. Most of the featured websites are truly works of art, no longer just pages to promote products.
You can browse waaay back to 2000 when the site opened and this way you can notice how technology has improved over the years, how more and more types of art were combined to create new multimedia environments(3d animation especially).
So, if you’re bored and would like to be dazzled by some really off the hook content then give the fwa a click and I promise that if you enjoy quality, you will enjoy what you find on this website . Cheers!

It is a year or two since I've been checking COLOURlovers for inspiration mainly, but for its friendliest and greatest community I've ever seen, its been something I've been dreaming to have here, at Ad. What is COLOURlovers? It's a website providing at least an idea: loving colours is something that all designers(and not only designers) felt; it is maybe an attachment to things that you've created, seen and, yes, loved.
In front of this idea that, in my opinion, COLOURlovers defile with, users can find precious resources(as someone said that the most simple things are the one's we cant separate from): colors, palettes, patterns - things that designers can't do without. Other than that, you can find the latest trends in colors, for websites and magazines. I won't say more about the size of this, lets say, great deal of resources from this website, I'll just give a paste from its own statistics:

"There are currently 118,237 Lovers sharing 1,282,314 Colors in 471,421 Palettes. Lovers have scored the lovely Colors & Palettes 2,020,301 times and left 822,301 comments and created 164,167 Patterns."

As for myself, I thank COLOURlovers for the great inspiration it has been giving me for some years now, for all the help on choosing the right colors, even here, on our website. You may find interesting to check their blog too, by clicking here.
We say hi and we congratulate their originality and commitment towards all of us!
   See you soon!
